Horizon workshop: Privacy and Trust in the Digital Economy

In the age of Internet of Things and big data, there is an imperative for privacy by design. But what challenges does this impose on the designers and the users, and what are the incentives in the marketplace for this to happen? In this workshop we’ll showcase some of the research Horizon has carried out on personal data privacy, ethics and trust, and explore the interplay with product design and security and what it may mean for you.
