Demonstrators addressing cyber security challenges in the Internet of Things

The aim of this competition is to solve industry-focused major cyber security-related challenges in the Internet of Things (IoT). These demonstrators are designed to test near-to-market interventions and experiments in real environments.

Submission Deadline: 03/04/19
Total Project Costs: £2,500,000 – £4,000,000 (£2m grant maximum)
Project Timeline Start by 01/12/19 – 18-24 months

There are three themes proposals should focus on:

  1. Operational resilience technologies for the protection and recovery of data in IoT.
  2. Intelligent control systems for industry, and commercial and public sector buildings to ensure critical systems function as they were designed.
  3. Intelligently protecting the occupants and the systems of the digital home.

Projects must be collaborative, business-led, and include at least one SME.

Briefing events will be held in London (25/02), Manchester (25/02), Edinburgh (25/02), Belfast (04/03), and Cardiff (04/03). Details will be available soon on the ‘Dates’ tab in the link below.
