CDT Student Victor Ngo Contributes to EPSRC-Funded AI Project

Horizon CDT student Victor Ngo (2022 cohort) is part of the team for “Creative Encounters with AI: The Thingamabobas Tour and Skills-Building Secondments”, one of five University of Nottingham projects selected for support under the EPSRC Outreach and Underpinning the Pipeline for AI Skills initiative.

Supported through the EPSRC Doctoral Landscape Award (DLA), this initiative forms part of a new £350,000 Additional Skills Funding 2025 investment secured by the Researcher Academy. The funding builds on the £11 million awarded to the University last November to strengthen doctoral training and expand opportunities for developing AI skills across disciplines.

Victor and his team — Ayse Kucukyilmaz, Dominic Price, Lucas Fonseca and Liz Felton — will explore creative, inclusive and cross-disciplinary approaches to AI education through their project.

Congratulations to Victor and the team for their contribution to this innovative project and for helping develop the next generation of AI skills!
