The focus of the Co-Production campaign is on engaging consumers in the making and distribution of hybrid products. The creative and cultural industries provide a natural starting point as they are relatively advanced in their thinking about co-production and offer a safe and accessible testbed for engaging consumers in creative explorations.
Projects under this campaign will explore novel ways in which consumers might co-create, from directly producing content to indirectly shaping products through their personal data.
We will work with key partners to deliver a high-profile campaign, before broadening out into other sectors, including food, consumer goods and wellbeing.
