Our Legacy

The Horizon Hub was founded in 2009 with funding from UKRI EPSRC and ran until 2015. It received a further two rounds of funding from the UKRI EPSRC to continue and expand its vast Digital Economy research portfolio – From Human Data to Personal Experience (2015-2020) and ‘Trusted Data Driven Products’ (2020–2025). 

 Horizon’s digital legacy will be carried forward by the Responsible Digital Futures Research Group (RDF), School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham, led by Professor Bernd Stahl.
