A new role for Elvira Perez Vallejos

Elvira Perez Vallejos is moving to the new NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at the Institute of Mental Health (Division of Psychiatry and Applied Psychology) in her new role as Associate Professor of Digital Technology for Mental Health. Within her new role, she will continue collaborating with colleagues at Horizon interested in understanding the risks and opportunities that the digital world offers and, sometimes imposes, on our mental well-being. Elvira joined Horizon Digital Economy in 2014 as a Senior Research Fellow and has spent the last three years working for the CaSMa project (ESRC funded) and the UnBias project (EPSRC funded). Her work has focused on data ethics, responsible research and innovation (RRI), and the development of new participatory methods to capture the voices children and young people as well as older adults.
