Forthcoming Trust, Privacy & The Internet of Things Early Career Workshop

The deadline for completion of EoIs is 1st November 2019.
1st – 3rd December 2019
Aberdeen, Scotland

In recent years, a significant amount of research activity has been supported by the Digital Economy Theme under its Trust, Identity, Privacy & Security (TIPS) priority with a focus on issues relating to the Internet of Things (IoT). Much of this activity has been driven by early career researchers, and this workshop (organised by the ESPRC fundedTrustLens project – EP/N028074/1) provides an opportunity for those at Postdoctoral and Lecturer/Assistant Professor level to come together to share experiences of working on trust and privacy aspects of the IoT. Participation from across a range of disciplines and perspectives, reflecting the fact that policy, regulatory and design aspects are as important as technical solutions.
