Submission of research evidence features in House of Lords Report

The House of Commons Justice and Home Affairs Committee has released a Report: Technology rules? The advent of new technologies in the justice system, following an inquiry into new technologies and the application of the law in 2021.

We are delighted to see our joint evidence submitted by Professor Derek McAuley, Horizon Digital Economy at the University of Nottingham, Professor Lilian Edwards, Newcastle Law School at Newcastle University, Dr Lachlan Urquhart, Edinburgh Law School at the University of Edinburgh and Dr Jiahong Chen, School of Law at the University of Sheffield, featuring on page 31, under item 57:
