Muhammad Suhaib Shahid will be graduating this summer at the University of Nottingham, having successfully completed his PhD with a thesis entitled:
‘Towards Vocal Tract MRI Synthesis from Facial Signals Using External to Internal Correlation Modelling’.
As a Horizon CDT alumnus, Suhaib continues to contribute meaningfully to the academic and research community.
Most recently, he took part in the 4th annual Early Career Anatomists (ECA25) hybrid conference, hosted by the University of Nottingham School of Life Sciences on 23rd and 24th June 2025.
This year’s conference, themed Anatomy Unbound: Integrating Disciplines & Connecting Generations, offered a platform for early career anatomists to present their work, share ideas and foster collaboration across disciplines and career stages.
Suhaib delivered a presentation titled ‘From Surface to Structure: Modelling for Dynamic Anatomy Education’, which was recognised with the ECA25 Best Oral Presentation Award.
We extend our congratulations to Suhaib on this well-deserved recognition and his continued success.
