Business Modelling

This project lays the foundations for analysing business models within the digital economy.  Two main areas of investigation are ongoing within this project: Standardisation strategies for the Android platform and the role and nature of the Information-Driven Global Commodity Chain in driving and creating value in the emerging industrial structure of the global economy.  Extensive interviews across several industries have been performed in order to understand the rapidly changing nature of the value chain created by our digital and mobile planet.

Commercial partners include: BT and Sony Ericsson.
