The Enchanted Forest gets an extension

We are delighted to receive notification that the Hullabaloo Theatre has decided to extend Roma Patel’s interactive performance installation,  ‘The Enchanted Forest’ until May 2018, due to the high demand received from special schools and families with children with additional needs.

The Enchanted Forest, inspired by the ideas of children, contains interactive trees, ponds and lily pads that light up, make noise and tells stories.

Roma Patel is a scenographer and digital artist, who joined the Horizon Centre for Doctoral Training as a PhD student in Autumn 2013. Her research, within the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham, focused on how the convergence between childrens’ theatre and digital technologies can make performances more multi-sensory, playful, participatory and interactive for younger audiences.
